Questions you may have….

  • How soon should I book with Miracles & Blessings?

You can never experience too much support too early. I begin working with most of my clients in the second trimester, but have had many clients prep earlier for their births!e.

  • Do a doula replace my partners role?

No. I am here to support both you and your partner! Your partner and I will collaborate as a team to make the best of your birth experience.

  • Can I still book your services if I plan on birthing in a hospital??

Of course! Miracles & Blessing services are not just for first time moms who have the desire to birth at home. But also for moms birthing at a birth center, hospital and also VBAC moms.

  • Do you accept payment plans for your services?

Yes. A 40% deposit is required at the beginning of our contract to secure availability and reserve your spot on my calendar. I understand the importance of budgeting, especially leading up to the birth of your baby, and will strive to accommodate your financial needs to the best of my ability.

  • What if I choose to get an epidural?

My job as your doula is to show you support in all the decisions you make in regards to your birth, and that includes whether you get an epidural or not! Before the epidural, there are sensations that I will help you work through to keep you as comfortable as possible. The epidural may not take away all the discomforts childbirth may bring, and I will be there to support you through that whether through comfort measures, prayer, and encouragement.

  • What if my pregnancy becomes high risk?

While a doula cannot change your health circumstances, I am here to offer emotional and physical support while also providing comfort during stressful challenges that a high-risk pregnancy may come with.
